HR Administrator (with focus on Payroll Admin Tasks)
(Part-Time) Temporary until 31/12/2026

Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, 09:00 – 14:30)
Salary: £11,583 per annum ( £14.85 per hour )
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused HR Administrator to join our busy Agriculture HR team at our Brackley site.
This is a fast-paced role with weekly payroll deadlines where you will provide HR and payroll administration support, working closely with managers and employees at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within deadlines
- Acting as a first point of contact for pay queries, resolving or escalating as needed
- Supporting managers with pay records and additional payments in MHR
- Managing the Agriculture HR shared inbox and escalating queries where required
- Coordinating new starter onboarding, including right-to-work checks and documentation
- Processing absence records and updating payroll and HR systems accordingly
- Liaising with HR Shared Services on employee changes and updates
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and digital files
- Updating case management trackers and producing monthly reports

- Strong numeracy skills and ability to problem solve complex pay queries
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work at pace
- Confident communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff
- IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Experience working in a busy / similar role
Desirable:
- Previous HR, Payroll, Finance or book keeping experience
