About the Role
Avara Foods is looking for a highly competent and motivated Planning Coordinator to join our Field Services Team, based at Tram Inn Mill.
Salary: £30,000 – £37,000 per annum DOE
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
As a Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of daily feed production upon receipt of feed orders.
What will you be doing as a Planning Coordinator at Avara?
You will:

Be responsible for daily feed planning and DSL system programme entries to ensure efficient mill utilisation

Liaise with the raw materials team, mill production staff and weighbridge operations to ensure efficient production and dispatch of feed

Identify and escalate issues to the Mill Management team

Monitor and uphold feed segregation protocols to ensure compliance at all times
-
Liaise with farms regarding order changes and delivery alterations
-
Monitor production shift reports and implement programme adjustments to offset mill efficiency issues

Assess delivery schedules, failed or delayed orders, and adjust programmes accordingly
-
Collect, administer and dispatch scheduled raw material and finished feed samples
-
Ensure Health & Safety policies and SOPs are adhered to at all times

Ensure food safety, integrity, legality and quality standards are maintained

Ensure biosecurity processes are followed to protect bird welfare
-
Maintain agreed SLA standards where appropriate
