Working Hours
A 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
05:30 – 18:00
Average of 40.25 hours per week.
About the role:
As a Team Leader you’ll play a key role in helping to manage production processes and production teams in order to meet safety, quality, productivity, training and cost targets agreed by the company.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Organising and motivating production staff to meet KPI targets.
- Having responsibility for ensuring new staff are trained and developed in a timely manner.
- Offering insight and experience to help with continuous improvement.
- Achieving agreed quality standards and ensuring products are consistently meeting specifications.
- Ensuring KPI data is up to date, recorded and shared with management.
- Escalating any issue or potential issues to production management and planners.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Experience of working within a fast paced production environment.
- Excellent communication ability alongside strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- A reliable team player who is approachable for other members of staff.
