Salary: £34,517.25 – £42,797.25 per annum

Purpose of the Role
As a Level 3 Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will develop plant reliability and operational performance by implementing robust maintenance strategies and resolving plant issues and breakdowns. You will routinely apply your expertise across a wide range of equipment and disciplines, ensuring downtime is minimised and operational capability is maximised.
Key Responsibilities

Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities with due consideration for safe plant operations and product quality

Conduct fault finding and respond to breakdowns across multiple engineering disciplines

Support continuous improvement activities to enhance plant capability and equipment reliability

Participate in plant improvements, modifications, and capital investment projects

Coach, mentor, and support engineers and operational technicians as appropriate

Act as a subject matter expert on plant equipment and technologies

Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to all engineering procedures

Work collaboratively with operations teams to support overall site performance
What We’re Looking For

Time-served multi-skilled apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
-
Level 3 technical certificate and NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline
-
HNC in a relevant engineering discipline preferred

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across multiple engineering areas

Proactive and dynamic approach to safety

Technical leadership skills and the ability to mentor colleagues

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail

Clear communication skills and team-working ability
