Purpose of the role
As a Technical Operative you will work as part of a team within a fast paced chilled food production facility ensuring good manufacturing and safe working practices are adhered to at all times.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To ensure area is prepared ready for shift start
- Conduct preventative maintenance to agreed tasks and schedule
- Ensure all machinery checks are conducted in a timely manner
- To carry out relevant checks to the correct standards
- To complete necessary paperwork
- Escalate issues to the engineering section
- Being proactive on ways to improve machines or processes
- To support the Section Manager in encouraging safe working behaviours, adhering to company rules and regulations
- Covering Process Leader in their absence
- Ensure that the Health and Safety Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Working Procedures are properly managed and adhered to at all times
What we are looking for:
- A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks
- Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadline
Working Hours
Sunday to Thursday - 18:00 - 03:00
