About the Role:

40 hours per week Job and Finish requirement
04:30am-13:30pm Monday-Thursday / 04:30am-13:30 W/ J&F Friday
12:45pm-21:45 W/ J&F Sunday / 13:30pm-22:30 W/ J&F Monday- Thursday
What will you be doing as Primary Coordination Team Leader, at Avara?
As the Primary Coordinator Team Leader, you will liaise with the on-shift Primary Team to coordinate downtime events, minimizing impact on bird welfare, efficiency, and value loss, while recording and reporting engineering actions and timelines, analyzing production effectiveness, and applying continuous improvement tools including the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle
What will your key responsibilities as a Primary coordination Team Leader include?
• Coordinate with Team Leaders and Shift Managers to ensure accurate data capture and drive performance improvements
• Lead analysis of downtime and quality loss events across the Kill to Chill process
• Monitor compliance with safety, food safety, bird welfare, and operational standards
• Use CI tools and data to identify and implement process improvements
• Collaborate with engineering to drive improvements using the PDCA cycle
• Work closely with engineering and CI teams to implement improvements.
• Target and support improvements in OEE performance
• Report key findings and results to management
• Maintaining adherence to Avara Foods safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure all Company policies, standards, processes are met and adhered to
What you’ll need to be successful:
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably poultry or food production
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience in change management
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience leading structured meetings and engaging cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
