About the role:
As a Machine Minder you’ll be undertaking machine interventions and first line trouble shooting to ensure machinery is running smoothly.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
- Performing start up and close down procedures.
- Minimising downtime of equipment through the correct start up and change over of lines.
- Reporting live data to Engineering and Production teams.
- Helping identify and implementing workplace improvements.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels.
- Carrying out Production Operative duties when required to keep the line running efficiently.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- A good understanding of English and numeracy skills.
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
- Experience within a production environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
