Feed Mill & Transport Administrator

About the Role

Reporting to the Transport & Planning Lead, this role is key to ensuring our transport operation runs efficiently, remains compliant with VOSA standards, and is always audit-ready. You’ll handle a wide range of administrative duties focused on driver and vehicle compliance, data accuracy, and seamless coordination with both internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all administrative tasks related to transport, drivers, and vehicles

  • Monitor driver tachograph data, report infringements, and support corrective action where required

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including WTD logs and defect reports

  • Input and adjust driver hours in internal systems (TMS and staff planners)

  • Carry out driver licence checks and manage digital downloads of vehicle data

  • Liaise with service providers for vehicle servicing and repairs

  • Collate and report transport KPIs and data to support internal reporting


What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in transport administration or a similar role

  • Good understanding of Transport Law & Regulations

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to build strong working relationships across teams

Desirable:

  • CPC qualification in Transport Law & Regulations

  • Experience in a logistics or feed mill environment
