Working hours
A 4 on 4 off shift pattern including weekends.
05:30 - 18:00
Averaging 40.25 hours per week.
About the role:
As a member of the Production Team, a Production Operative enables your lines and the rest of the factory to run efficiently and meet different customer’s needs to the required quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch.
- Checking, grading and labelling products.
- Manual handling which may include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg.
- Preparing poultry meat products including, deboning, mincing and shaping products.
- Carrying out all duties in line with training, food safety and health and safety guidance.
What we are looking for:
- Team work and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a flexible attitude to work tasks.
- Good understanding of English and basic numeracy skills.
- Experience within food production would be an advantage but not essential as all training is provided.
