41 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 06:45 - 18:00 (4 out of 5 days)
About the role:
As Packing Skilled Operative you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
- Escalating any issues to Technical Operatives or Process Leader
- Working proactively to ensure that the production lines are running effectively
- Carrying out hourly production and quality control checks
- Recording production data both electronic and paper based
- Ensuring that the product is packed correctly and to high standard expectations
- Reporting information back to section managers
- Cleaning equipment and modules on a rotation schedule
What you’ll need to be successful:
- A good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail and a responsible attitude to tasks
- Be self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines
