Purpose of the role
As a member of the Retail ACM A team, you’ll have an essential role in weighing and labelling product to ensure that customer requirements are met by Avara Foods.
Key responsibilities will include:
•Collecting product for weighing and labelling
•Safely moving product from production line, following Safety guidelines
•Use of Pallet Truck following HSE guidelines
What are we looking for
•Good level of numeracy and communication is essential
•Effective organisation & time management skills is essential
•Previous experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing industry would be desirable
•Basic Food Hygiene, Manual Handling and Pallet Truck Licence would be desirable

A little about our Hereford site:
The Hereford plant is our largest site and processes chicken products across two factory facilities, Grandstand Road and Yazor Road. Grandstand handles processing, whole bird production and portioning, with Yazor responsible for portioning and added value. Across the whole site approximately 1,500 people are employed and it processes 1.9m birds per week.
