As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our Technical standards across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Technical Placement Student to join our Technical Team, based at our advanced processing site in Hereford.
Your working hours would be Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00.

Assisting the Product Specifications Co-ordinator and Production team with both new and existing products (QAS & Specifications)
Supporting the control and accurate maintenance of the Quality Management System, including document control and revision of procedures and forms
Co-ordinating GMP audits, ensuring all areas are regularly assessed to maintain compliance
Submitting laboratory sample data
Planning, organising and communicating trials
Co-ordinating sampling activities
Completing technical information and supporting project work
As a Technical Placement Student, we are seeking a passionate and ambitious Food Science / Technology undergraduate who is:
A team player with the ability to work effectively independently
Adaptable to varied situations
An excellent communicator with a range of stakeholders and colleagues
Comfortable taking a hands-on approach
Driven to achieve results and find solutions
On course to achieve a minimum of a 2:2 degree, ideally with a focus on Food Science
