Salary: £28,265.85 – £36,545.85 per annum, plus shift premium of £7,785

Working as part of the Engineering Team, you will support plant reliability and operational performance by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within your core engineering discipline. You will assist in resolving plant issues and breakdowns to minimise downtime while developing your technical capability.
Support and undertake planned preventative maintenance activities in line with safe working practices and product quality standards
Assist with fault finding and breakdown response under the guidance of senior engineers
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance
Assist with plant improvements, modifications, and engineering projects
Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow engineering procedures
Work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams to support site performance
Develop technical knowledge of process machinery and site equipment within your trade
Recognised Level 2 engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (or working towards Level 3)
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
Basic fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong commitment to health and safety
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexible and proactive approach to work
