Despatch Team Leader

Do you want to earn a minimum of £15.39 per hour? We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our Despatch team at our site in Caistor, North Lincolnshire.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

10:00 – 22:00.

About the role:

 As a Process Leader in Despatch you will be supporting the Section Manager with the intake, picking and outloading processes. Alongside supporting and developing the despatch staff in order to meet the departments KPIs.  

Some of the key responsibilities will include: 

• Supporting the on-going training for all staff in your team including new starters to the department.
• Communicating with planning, logistics and production departments to ensure plans are clear and achievable.
• Ensuring product is correctly rotated, stored and despatch to agreed order specifications.
• Regularly reporting KPI data and transport service levels.
• Conducting daily and weekly stock takes.
• Use MHE equipment when required to ensure orders are picked and despatched as expected.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Previous experience leading and motivating a team.
• The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks.
• Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
