About the Role:
We are recruiting for a Central Despatch / Cratewash operative to join our team in Hereford.

About the role

As a Cratewash operative you will be responsible for achieving hygiene standards in your area, helping the team to meet the high standard of hygiene required for Avara Foods.

Working Hours

0700-1900/1900-0700 - 3 on 2 off / Days & Nights

Benefit
£11.90 per hour plus shift allowance £1.23 

Your key responsibilities will include:
• To fully understand and comply with all department and company policies and guidelines
• To meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team
• Compliance with food safety and HSE guidelines
• Supporting Cratewash duties and site improvements
• Complete all relevant paperwork to ensure traceability in the event of a process problem/issue.
• Ensure stock is correctly rotated.
• Complete schedule to supply crates and pallets
• Co-operate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety and productivity standards.
• Handling/lifting of crates averaging 18kg

What we are looking for:
• Communication and working as part of a team (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in Food Manufacturing (desirable)
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate (desirable)
• Manual Handling training (desirable)
• Pallet Truck Licence (desirable)
• Fork Lift Truck Licence (desirable)
