About the Role:

Procurement Systems Support

Are you passionate about new systems and processes?  Looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience or qualifications in Procurement?

As an inclusive, forward thinking business, we take pride in our approach to Procurement across Avara Foods and are looking for a highly competent and motivated Procurement Systems Support to join our Procurement Team, based at our Brackley Site.

Purpose of the role:

As a Procurement Systems Support you will support the procurement leads in implementing a new procurement process on Oracle across all Avara Foods business areas.

Your key responsibilities as a Procurement Systems Support will include:

  • Act as our 1st line support for the requisitioning community of approximately 250 users.
  • Answer “How do I questions” on the procurement process focused on how to put a requisition on the system, how to receipt goods and services and how to deal process invoice miss matches.
  • Monitor requisitioning activities within Oracle, identify people not keeping on top of their workload, contact them to help them get their workload under control
  • Keep the requisitioning community aware of new tips and techniques, and changes to the system processes
  • Run reports to enable requisitioners to understand their performance compared to the rest of the community.
  • Escalate issues that are failing to be addressed
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
What we are looking for:
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and systems
  • Previous experience working in procurement or purchasing
  • Previous experience working with a modern business software system
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IT literate
