We are looking for HR Administrator to join our team based in Brackley, Northamptonshire to support our operational and agricultural business unit.

Purpose of the role
As a member of the HR team you’ll help provide a general administrative support to the HR function to ensure the effective day to day running of the department.  The position requires contact with Management and staff in all departments, at all levels, and across the Chicken Business Unit.  The workforce covers professional, managerial, technical, clerical, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled personnel. 

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensure that the HR systems are accurately maintained at all times
• Complete headcount KPI’s for all employees on a weekly basis and period end headcount figures
• Run absence and turnover reports to allow central reporting on key metrics
• Complete weekly paid new starters including setting up in HR systems, creating electronic files and updating relevant trackers
• Manage the weekly payroll system by dealing with pay queries, staff sales and pay adjustments, ensuring that payroll is ready on a weekly basis
• Ensure that leaver files for weekly paid colleagues are archived in line with the retention policy
• Control of general administration including efficient online filing systems, including scanning and shredding documentation, answering the telephone, and ensuring that all electronic files are maintained to a high standard with all the appropriate documentation
• Administration and monitoring of absence, including collation of sick notes, return to work interviews, arranging absence reviews, monitoring long term sickness and completing the AWOL process on a daily basis
• Arranging Occupational Health appointments in line with the health surveillance schedule
• Raise Purchase Orders

What we are looking for:
• IT literate and up to date experience and confident in usage of Microsoft Office including mail merge
• Effective organisational skills and time management
• Methodical with an attention to detail whilst working at pace
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external contacts
