We are hiring! Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a Farm Operative to join our team, based at our farm in Enstone, Oxfordshire.

We are a leading supplier of Poultry products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn’t been a more exciting time to join us.

Purpose of the role

As a Farm Operative and a member of the Agriculture Team, you’ll help manage the day to day running of the farm with farm management, in keeping with company parameters to ultimately provide a profitable and efficient operation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring adherence to the company Health and Safety and Bio-security procedures

  • Maintain health and welfare of the stock by ensuring feed and drink systems are functional and accessible at all times

  • Upholding hygiene standards

  • Checking and monitoring bird welfare

  • General assistance with farm needs and requirements

What we are looking for:

  • You will have passion for the role and the progression for a career within the agricultural division

  • You will have excellent communications skills and have the flexibility to work alongside the business needs

  • As a Farm Operative, you will need to be committed and willing to learn

  • You will need to have your own means of transport

As a Farm Operative, your role will vary however, this will give you a great overview of the various stages of the poultry growing cycle and is a strong starting point for anyone wishing to start their career in this field.
